I've been getting a lot of inquiries about classes lately. So I'm making it official with this flyer! Thanks to all the folks who have asked and spread the word :)

It's been a while since I cranked out anything Wolf related, felt good to get back the good ol space Vikings. Enjoy!
Also, another reminder to check out my facebook page, The Fantay Art of Sam Lenz. I've been posting my work in progress there as it's easier for me to communicate opposed to comments on blogspot.

This is only the second Kingdom Death model I've had a chance to paint, so far it's a two for two of awesomeness. I kept it simple on my color selection to save time, this was a mid level commission so my aim was to complete him in 5 hours, which I was able to do :)
I'd also like to remind everyone that I've started an artist page on Facebook, give it a gander!

Hey all! Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Miniatures Painting Weekly, an online magazine about all things hobby related. They were kind enough to feature some of my work in their first issue. Give them a click and see what it's all about!

This project was started during a private tutoring session. Super fun to work on after throwing away the derpy smoke that came with the sculpt (you know what I'm talking about). I'd also like to remind my regular readers I've moved my operations over to Facebook and mainly this blog will function as a gallery of completed work for the time being.
I also have an Instagram account, it's a mix of weirdness and miniatures if you're so inclined. Search for Sam Lenz to find me.

A really fun commission to work on. With the Death Jester theme in mind I wanted to accent more the wraithbone part of Eldar culture opposed to the checkers and other mechanical lines.
This post also marks a transition for me. I've started a Facebook page for my art. This blog will still remain but will function as a gallery of completed works for the most part. Facebook seems like an easier way to interact with people who visit this page. I don't get notifications from blogspot when someone comments for example. So check it out and give it a like if you swing that way.
